Big East Outdoor Track and Field Championships - redux

If you think this generation of kids are just a bunch of couch-slouching, video game-playing, text-messaging, Internet-surfing slugs, go to the Big East Track and Field Indoor or Outdoor Championships sometime.

So, it's been awhile. Lots has happened this summer. I wasn't in the mood to write about anything while I was wallowing sadly during my first few weeks of retirement. What? Wallowing about retiring? Who does that? Well, apparently me. I loved my job but I knew it was time.

Anyway...I'm back and have created a new blog for my Act Two! I plan to jazz it up a bit like the other one and even bring over all my old posts and put them somewhere here. Those old posts are like old friends and walking down memory lane. When I read each one now I remember where I was and what was going on in my life at the time. Some make me laugh, some make me cry again and others make me cringe!

So I hope my old readers haven't forgotten about me, all four of you, and I hope to attract a few new readers along the way. If you hang around a while they'll be homemade chocolate chip cookies and some laughs. What could be better than that! :)
